One thing is for sure, she is not married to Legolas after Kili dies. 
I don't think she would have let him do all the stuff he did in LOTR if they would have been married. 
I think she'll die. Better yet, she'll die saving someone, possibly either Legolas, Thranduil, Bilbo, or another Dwarf. If it would be one of the two Elves, she would prove to them that she was still loyal to her kind even if she loved a Dwarf, and that would make the Elves accept that maybe friendship is once again possible with the Dwarves. Vice Versa if she saves a Dwarf.
